Germany's Best Employer
In the competition "Germany's Best Employer 2003", DDS earned 43rd place to become the only communication centre
recognised as one of Germany's fifty best employers. First place went to Microsoft Deutschland, and the Allianz Group,
in 35th place, was also among the winners.
"Germany's Best Employer" was organised and conducted by the business magazine Capital and the Asstel insurance group.
Over a hundred companies surveyed their employees on topics such as fairness, management credibility,
teamwork, workplace conditions, and pride. Specific human resources instruments and business concepts comprised
another evaluative factor.
At DDS, two hundred and fifty randomly chosen employees participated in the survey.
Here is a sampling of their responses:
- 94% of our employees believe that management uses layoffs only as a last resort.
- 81% of our employees are so dedicated that they are willing to go the extra mile for the company.
- 93% of our employees feel that they work at a friendly company.
- 83% of our employees view team spirit at DDS favourably.
- 95% of our employees appreciate their "fair treatment by the company."
