"Initiative Mittelstand" – the initiative for small and medium-sized businesses
Perfectly balanced – investments and yields!
Innovation Award 2005
Every year, the publishing company Huber Verlag für neue Medien and "Initiative Mittelstand" bestow an
Innovation Award for innovative and interesting solutions at small and medium-sized companies. In 2005,
over six hundred companies competed in various categories.
DDS received an award in the category Human Resources Administration. Honours went to the idea of using
existing systems instead of costly new software to manage the electronic target-monitoring cards that are a
component of DDS's performance-based compensation model – an effective and economical alternative.
The publisher Huber Verlag für Neue Medien is the IT industry's largest direct information and press service.
The publications and Web sites of its editorial offices are always on top of the story when it comes
to current events in the World Wide Web. With its "it" media (it-ZEITUNG, it-Campus, Sales & Marketing,
and Brennpunkt Mittelstand) and the market leader PresseBox®, Huber Verlag already has years of experience
in the field of information technology and continuously provides its readers with the industry's breaking news.
As the founder of "Initiative Mittelstand," Huber Verlag invests considerable effort in the active support of small
and medium-sized businesses.
The overall winner of the Innovation Award 2005 was Bydata AG, Panda Software Deutschland, with its
intelligent virus shield TruPrevent.
